Thanks to BigGameHunter, Sneak Peek more new 'Spidey' screenshots from Activision's Beenox video game "Spider-Man: Edge of Time", available in North America October 4, 2011.
"Edge of Time" is the second "Spider-Man" video game title to be developed by Beenox, following "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions", released in 2010 :
"...in the year 2099, 'Alchemax' scientist 'Walter Sloan' seeks to gain power and fortune by traveling back in time to the present day, in order to use his knowledge of future technology to found Alchemax ahead of time.
"This causes the future of 2099 to change to a dystopia where Alchemax rules the world with an iron fist.
"'Miguel O'Hara' aka 'Spider-Man 2099' is aware of the plan and finds out that Sloan's actions are not only responsible for the changes in the timeline but will also cause the death of 'Peter Parker' aka 'Spider-Man' at the hands of 'Anti-Venom'.
"Miguel warns Peter of the impending danger, as both of the 'Spider-Men' work together across time to save the life of Peter Parker..."
Voice cast inludes Josh Keaton, Christopher Daniel Barnes, Val Kilmer ("The Doors"), Laura Vandervoort ("Smallville") and Katee Sackhoff ("Battlestar Galactica").
"Spider-Man: Edge Of Time" was written by Peter David.
In addition to Spidey, Marvel Comics' characters appearing in the game include 'Anti-Venom', 'Mary Jane Watson', the 'Rhino', the 'Shocker', 'Walter Sloan' and 'Black Cat 2099'.
