Actor Ryan Gosling is attached to star as 'Logan 5' for director Nicolas Winding Refn ("Drive").
In other "Logan's Run" news, Bluwater Productions' "Logan's Run: Aftermath" #6, is now available, written by Paul Salamoff, with illustrations by Phillip Simpson and a cover by Mike Dorman :

The new "Logan's Run" feature is based on the 1967 novel by author William F Nolan.
Producers are Joel Silver and Akiva Goldsman.
Garland's screenplay is set in the 23rd Century, focusing on the 'Sandman' enforcer known as 'Logan 5, who chases down anyone who tries to escape a state-sanctioned death once they reach the age of 30. Everything is routine for Logan, until the day he turns 30.
The story was previously adapted into a 1976 feature starring Michael York and Jenny Agutter, a spin-off TV series and a comic book series from Marvel and Bluewater Publishing.
