Sneak Peek "X-Men: Days Of Future Past"

Sneak Peek the "X-Men" Animated TV series episode "Days Of Future Past", now confirmed by producer Bryan Singer, to be the title of the sequel to the 2011 Fox feature "X-Men: First Class".
"It's called 'Days of Future Past'," said Singer. "It deals with aspects of that comic...", referring to Marvel Comics' "Uncanny X-Men" (1981) issues #141 and #142, written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by John Byrne.
The story alternates between present day, in which the 'X-Men' fight the 'Brotherhood of Evil Mutants' led by mutant shape-shifter 'Mystique', and a future timeline caused by the X-Men's failure to prevent the Brotherhood from assassinating 'Senator Robert Kelly'.
In this future universe, robot 'Sentinels' rule the US with mutants incarcerated in internment camps. The present-day X-Men are forewarned of the possible future by the future version of their teammate 'Kitty Pryde', whose mind traveled back in time and possessed her younger self.  She succeeds in her mission of warning the X-Men and returns to the future, but despite her success, the future timeline still exists as an alternative timeline rather than as the actual future.
"The Days of Future Past' storyline was also adapted for the "X-Men" Animated TV series, with another alternative future story, focusing on bounty hunter 'Bishop' and the idea of a traitor within the ranks of the team.
