Sneak Peek a new poster from the Cannes Film Festival promoting the upcoming Universal Pictures feature "King Conan: The Legend Of Conan", starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, who first played the 'Cimmerian' barbarian in 1982:
Producer Fredrik Malmberg said the new film would "pick up 'Conan' where Arnold is now in his life.
"We will be able to use the fact that he has aged in this story. I love the property of 'Conan' so much that I wouldn't touch it unless we came up with something worthy.
"We think this is a worthy successor to the original film. Think of this as Conan's 'Unforgiven'."
"The idea is that this takes place after Conan has been king.
"But this is the legend of Conan where he has been gone and people say, ‘Do you remember the good ol’ days when Conan was around?’ And now it’s time for him to come back..."
