In an alternate timeline which first appeared in the "Spider-Verse" crossover comic, Edge of Spider-Verse #2, 'Gwen Stacy' is the one to be bitten by the radioactive spider, and becomes the superhero 'Spider-Woman' aka 'Spider-Gwen':
"...she’s smart, she’s tough, she’s charming and she can lift a car – she’s 'Gwen Stacy'! Patrolling the New York City of her universe, she keeps the streets safe as the vigilante known as 'Spider-Woman'! Just don’t tell her father, 'NYPD Police Chief George Stacy'..."
Variations of 'Spider-Man' in the new film could include 'Ben Reilly', a clone of 'Peter Parker', who fights crime as the 'Scarlet Spider'. 'Mac Gargan', possessing the 'Venom' symbiote was a member of the 'Dark Avengers'.
'Spider-X' aka 'Brian Kornfield' became a demonic Spider-Man after making a deal with the demon 'Chthon'. 'Mattie Franklin', the niece of 'J. Jonah Jameson', was granted spider powers by 'The Gathering of Five'.
'Ai Apaec', the South American spider god, is transformed by 'Norman Osborn' into a six armed version of Spider-Man. The Spider-Man robot 'Timespinner' was created by 'Kang the Conqueror' to defeat the 'Avengers'. Clones of 'Peter Parker' include 'Kaine' and 'Spidercide'.
'Blood Spider' is an evil version of Spider-Man trained by the 'Taskmaster'.The 'Spider Doppelganger' is an evil version of Spider-Man created by the 'Magus' during the 'Infinity War'. 'Ezekiel Sims' has mystical spider powers, as a member of the 'Spider Society' and its front organization, 'WebCorps'.
And last but not least, fan favorite 'Peter Porker' 'The Amazing Spider-Ham'.
