Universal, home of the most famous monsters in filmland, have hired a monster star for the studios' upcoming reboot of "The Mummy", part of a new 'shared monster universe' that will include 'Dracula', 'Wolfman' and a whole lot more:
Actor Tom Cruise has been confirmed for "The Mummy" reboot, opening June 9, 2017, to be directed by Alex Kurtzman, from a screenplay by Jon Spaights, set in the modern era, with a female mummy (Sofia Boutella ) as the main female lead.
Other new films, to be developed by Kurtzman include reboots of "Dracula"...
