"Terminator 6", to be produced by James Cameron, directed by Tim Miller ("Deadpool"), starring Linda Hamilton as 'Sarah Connor' and Arnold Schwarzenegger as the 'T-800' machine, will be the first feature in a new trilogy, as a direct sequel to "Terminator 2: Judgment Day":
Cameron has said the new trilogy will have "...predator drones and actual discussions...
"...on the ethics of having a robot have its own kill decision possibilities..."
As for Schwarzenegger’s character, Cameron said "...there could be a reason all the 'Terminators' looked like the same person...
"...based on a man whose 'DNA' was used to create the robot's human appearance.
"But who was this man, and what was his relationship to 'Skynet'?..."
"I think James Cameron and Tim Miller came up with a concept where they can continue on with the 'T-800' but make a whole new movie," said Schwarzenegger.
"What they are doing now with this one is basically to just take a few very basic characters, like Linda Hamilton's character and my character, and dismiss everything else.
"Just move away from all these rules of the timeline and other characters..."
Actor Edward Furlong ("Canes") who played young 'John Connor' in "T2", could also be in consideration for the new film...
...currently looking suitably weathered, after years of film acting roles and struggles with substance abuse.
Furlong could be in the gym, along with 'seasoned warrior' Linda Hamilton...
...until the new film's production start date of March 2018, shooting in Spain and Hungary.
