"Stranger Things: Into The Fire"



Dark Horse Comics' "Stranger Things: Into The Fire" #1, based on the science fiction horror TV series created by the Duffer Brothers and released on Netflix, is available January 8, 2020, written by Jody Houser, with covers by Viktor Kalvachev, Kyle Lambert and Jeremy Wilson:

"Stranger Things" is set in the rural town of 'Hawkins', Indiana, during the early 1980's. The nearby 'Hawkins National Laboratory' ' performs scientific research for the 'United States Department of Energy', but secretly does experiments into the paranormal and supernatural, including those that involve human test subjects. Inadvertently, they have created a portal to an alternate dimension, called 'the Upside Down', that starts to affect the unknowing residents of Hawkins in strange ways.
