"The Amazing Spider-Man 2": Images and Footage

Sneak Peek New York City set images and a video of actress Emma Stone starring as 'Gwen Stacy', the girlfriend of 'Peter Parker'  in Columbia Pictures' currently filming 3D sequel,"The Amazing Spider-Man 2".

The Marvel Comics character 'Gwen Maxine Stacy', was created by writer Stan Lee and illustrator Steve Ditko, first appearing in "The Amazing Spider-Man" #31 (December 1965), as a college student.

Gwen was originally the first true love of 'Peter Parker' before he developed deep feelings for her friend and rival, 'Mary Jane Watson'. 'Norman Osborn', aka 'The Green Goblin' caused Spider-Man to accidentally kill Gwen in "The Amazing Spider-Man" #121 (June 1973).

Both the decision to kill Gwen and the method in which Marvel implemented it remains controversial, but the death became a pivotal point in both Spider-Man’s history and in comic books in general.
