"Big Trouble In Little China: Old Man Jack"

In support of a reboot of director John Carpenter's "Big Trouble In Little China", take a look at more of Boom! Studios' sequel "Big Trouble In Little China: Old Man Jack", written by Carpenter and Anthony Burch, continuing the adventures of 'Jack Burton':

"...from John Carpenter (director of 'Big Trouble in Little China', 'The Thing', 'Escape from New York') and Anthony Burch comes the story of old man 'Jack Burton' and his final ride in the 'Pork-Chop Express'. The year is 2020, and hell is literally on Earth. 'Ching Dai', sick of relying on screw-ups like 'Lo Pan' to do his bidding, has broken the barriers between Earth and the infinite hells, and declared himself ruler of all. Sixty-year-old Jack Burton is alone in a tiny corner of Florida with only his broken radio to talk to, until one day it manages to pick up a message. Someone is out there in the hellscape, and they know a way to stop Ching Dai.

"Jack and Lo Pan have a less-than-friendly reunion and are forced to team up on the hellish road to Chinatown.

"...Jack and Lo Pan tear through an ocean of fire and madness, where nothing they see can be trusted - and may mean their demise...

"Jack and Lo Pan follow 'Pete' into the lair of the 'Demon of Vengeance', only to face a stunning betrayal.

"Jack Burton and Lo Pan are back on the road to San Francisco when they run into an old friend who may have changed beyond all recognition.

"Jack, Lo Pan, and 'Wang' are trapped in their own separate, personal hells that they can only escape if they find a way to work together once again.

"Jack and his increasingly improbable team break into the 'Tower of Skulls' to save an old ally who could change the tide of this fight- if they can make it in time.

"Jack has finally come face to face with Ching Dai. It's a battle of wits, a battle of magic, a battle to end all battles. As soon as Jack can find his reading glasses..."
