Marvel's "Loki" on Disney+


Take a look at Marvel Studios six-episode "Loki" live-action TV series, directed by Kate Herron, that will tie into the feature "Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness", streaming June 11, 2021 on Disney+ :

Created by writer Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber and illustrator Jack Kirby, a version of the character first appeared in Marvel Comics "Venus #6 (August 1949).


The modern day incarnation of Loki first appeared in Marvel's "Journey into Mystery" #85 (October 1962). 


The character, which is based on the Norse deity of the same name, is the Asgardian god of mischief. 


He is the adopted brother and often enemy of the superhero Thor, however over the years the character has been depicted as an antihero.


Hiddleston has played the 'Loki' character "Thor" (2011) "The Avengers" (2012), "Thor: The Dark World" (2013), "Thor: Ragnarok" (2017), "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame".
